For Rouleur Live 2025, Stelbel partnered with award-winning graphic designer Matt Willey. His work is highly coveted and forms the visual foundation of the world’s most prestigious publications. Today, we are bringing you on a journey to discover what inspired him for the livery of this very special SB/04.
The bike pays tribute to the historic bond known as the ‘Polish Connection,’ a collaboration between Stelio Belletti and the Polish Cycling Federation. In 1975, just two years after Stelbel was founded, Belletti crafted TIG-welded frames for the Polish team, who went on to clinch gold in the Team Time Trial at the World Championships in Belgium by a margin of just 5.5 seconds.
Matt Willey’s livery draws inspiration from the original red and white frames, reinterpreting history with a bold, modern design that connects Milan, Poland, and Stelbel’s racing heritage. This collaboration is a tribute to craftsmanship, grit, and fifty years of cycling history, bringing a legendary frame back into the spotlight for a new generation of enthusiasts.
